Assignment

Final Semester Assignment: Content Credentials + In-Class AI Experiments

Because this is the final week of the semester—and all of you have been consistently wonderful and diligent—this is a lighter assignment focused on ‘’‘Content Credentials’’’ and hands-on AI exploration in class.

Last week we did a brief overview of Content Credentials and introduced Adobe Firefly as we began discussing experimentation with AI-based stuff/tools.

What you need to do (3 things)

1) Apply Content Credentials to 5 illustrations + upload them

Pick ‘’‘five’’’ of your illustrations (at a decent resolution) and apply Adobe Content Credentials to each one:

  • Go here: Apply Content Credentials (Adobe)
  • Sign in (or create an account if needed)
  • Apply Content Credentials to ‘’‘five’’’ artworks
  • Download/export the ‘’‘credentialed’’’ versions
  • Upload the credentialed versions to the ‘’‘Google Drive folder for this week’’’ (linked below)

Google Drive folder: MFAI_20251215-content-credental-upload

2) Bring your laptop + iPad to class (charged)

Bring your ‘’‘laptop and optionally iPad’’’ to class and make sure both are charged.

In class:

  • We will look at a few AI tools/workflows
  • You’ll have time to try them yourself
  • We’ll talk through what’s useful, what’s not, and what this means for illustrators

3) Bring recent project files / “parts”

Bring some of your recent working materials so you can experiment with ‘‘your’’ own content:

  • recent project files (Illustrator / Photoshop / Fresco / Procreate)
  • sketches / WIPs
  • interesting “bits and pieces” (textures, studies, brushes, assets, etc.)

Checklist (what I should see in Drive)

  • Five (5) credentialed images uploaded
