Assignment
Your assignment next week is to study and practice the process of creating new brushes for Photoshop, Illustrator, or Fresco and then create one new illustration with your custom brushes.
In class this week I shared a quick overview of Making Brushes in Photoshop Illustrator & Capture. Above I have listed out several beginner tutorials on the same topic. There are many more on the internet.
Success for next week is dependant on:
- Spending some time getting used to creating custom brushes in the tool of your choice.
- Creating a handful of nice brushes.
- Using YOUR brushes to create a wonderful new illustration, the subject/topic is up to you.
Your deliverable TWO separate Photoshop or Illustrator documents!
For next week I expect you to upload:
- One wonderful new square 6" x 6" illustration that is either a Photoshop or Illustrator file.
- Your new illustration should be in RGB color space, not CMYK.
- One additional file/document that clearly and cleanly displays the custom brushes you created. A sample document.
