- I shared a little about my background and how this class has grown over the years.
- We reviewed the group survey and talked about some of the ways that each of you work.
- Most importantly we discussed the challenges of working/presenting remotely and agreed that we will keep discussing this and sharing solutions.

- I shared a nice time-lapse of Robert Kondo paining light in Photoshop [here].
- I shared a quick demo of Google Photoscan for iPhone, a possible way to scan higher quality with your phone.
- A few students asked me about scanners after class so I made this Scanners for artists (Mostly flatbed) reference for you today 😎.

Assignment
There is no official drawing assignment this week. There are however a few things I expect you all to investigate and/or think about. We will discuss these as a group next week:
- Please log into your SVA Adobe Creative Cloud account. Get it set up on all of your devices, make sure you can download and install the basic tools like Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
- Let me know what you hear regarding your SVA iPads and Apple Pencils.
- Spend some time evaluating your current computer/remote video/technology situation and what you might want to change in the next 3 months. If it's a list, write that list down and be prepared to share it.
- Come up with one good question to ask me at the start of class next week.
- Be kind to yourself. It ain't easy starting a semester remotely. Use the time you would have spent drawing something wonderful for me to spend time 'hanging out' with your new team.
